Our first stop brings us on the Cliffs of Moher tour brings us to the town of Limerick, where we will take a quick break to see King John's Castle from across the river Shannon. After traveling through Limerick's city streets, we head to Co Clare and learn about the battles that were fought there between the Irish and English.

We arrive to the stunning Cliffs of Moher where we will take a walk around, capturing the site's scenery and breathing in the fresh air! If the weather is on our side, we will have our lunch at the cliffs or head down to the lovely town of Doolin, famous for its traditional music. After our stomachs are full, we will make our way along the coastline and stop at scenic viewpoints that will guarantee beautiful pictures!

Next on the Cliffs of Moher tour, we will take a scenic walk at one of Ireland's greatest National Parks, the Burren. The Burren is one of the largest limestone/karst regions of Europe. Only in the Burren will you have the unique opportunity to see the beautiful flora and fauna that grow in this special ecosystem. It is truly an amazing experience!

Tour Itinerary

6:50am

Our Cliffs of Moher tour begins at the tourist office on Suffolk Street which is located right outside the old stone church. You will meet your guide for the day as well as your other travelling companions!

10:00am

The first stop on our Cliffs of Moher tour brings us to Limerick and we will take a short break to see King John's Castle across the river Shannon. We will then travel through the historic city streets of Limerick on our way to Co Clare. Our guide will tell you about the history of this great city and the battles that were fought between the Irish and the English. We will make a stop at the treaty stone which is where the treaty was signed between William III of Hanover of England and his father in-law, King James II.

11:30am

We arrive at the Cliffs of Moher and take an hour and a half to explore this remarkable attraction. Entrance to the cliffs and option to view an interactive show at the visitor center is included in the tour price.

1:00pm

We will have lunch on the cliffs if the weather is on our side. If not, we will head to Doolin village and have lunch at Fitzpatrick's pub. We recommend the fish or clam chowder! Doolin is known for their traditional Irish music and friendly locals. Looking for your true love? The town of Lisdoonvarna is right up the road and is famous for their annual match making festival!

2:00pm

After we finish lunch at the Cliffs of Moher, we will head to the limestone/karst region of the Burren, one of Ireland's greatest National Parks. The Burren is famous for its beautiful array of flora. You will leave amazed by the diversity and sheer number of flower types all living in the same ecosystem!

3:45pm

Our final stop on the Cliffs of Moher tour brings us to the Bohemian city of Galway. The arty, bohemian city of Galway is renowned for its brightly painted pubs, live music and cafés. This city is steeped in history, explore the meandering streets and listen to the many street performers from around the world who call this city their home. Remnants of the medieval town walls lie between shops selling Aran sweaters, handcrafted Claddagh rings and stacks of second-hand and new books. This ‘City of Tribes’ will sure to be a highlight of your day tour!

We will arrive back to Dublin after a beautiful day of sightseeing on the Cliffs of Moher tour!
