Tour Itinerary

Our Giant's Causeway tour will depart from the Suffolk Street tourist center which is located outside the old stone church. We will hop on the bus and head north out of Dublin towards Belfast! The scenic route from the city Larne will give you your first view of the famous Causeway coastal road!

Our first stop of the day is at the "Dark Hedges" also known as the Kings road to GOT fans. This is a stretch of road lined with intertwining beech trees which were planted in the 18th century.

After lunch on the Giant's Causeway tour, we will be off to visit the famous "Carrick-a-Rede" rope bridge which is managed by the National Trust. To show our support for this conservational charity, we have included the price of the rope bridge in the tour ticket. Take a look around on our 20 minute walk to the bridge, you might see some native wildlife along the way! If you can take your eyes off the bridge during your walk across, you'll see the breathtaking views of the Rathlin Island and the Mull of Kintyre in Scotland!

We will take a short break to stretch our legs and breathe in the fresh air! We will drive though the city of Ballintoy which gives up amazing views over Whiteparks Bay and Portbradden. Once we arrive at the Giant's Causeway, we recommend walking to the very peak of the cliffs to enjoy the stunning panoramic view! Next, head back down to the point referred to as the "Organ" which is a formation of basalt columns that come together to look like organ pipes. For lunch, you can pack your own lunch for a scenic picnic by the sea or eat at The Nook or the Cauaseway Hotel.

Our Giant's Causeway tour will give you a beautiful, full length picture of Dunluce Castle. This castle is regarded as the most romantic castle in the country and was home to the McDonnell Clan. Dunluce Castle was found to be the primary inspiration for the fictional castle "Clair Paravel" in CS Lewis's series, "The Chronicles of Narnia". This site was also used in Game of thrones as castle greyjoy. After we finish visiting this beautiful site, we will pass through the time of Bushmills which is home to Ireland's first hydro power plant. This lively town is also the proud maker of Bushmills Irish Whiskey!

We will arrive to Dublin and reminisce about the day's events on the Giant's Causeway tour!
