Croke Park Stadium in Dublin has been at the heart of Irish sporting life for over 100 years. It is the headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), Ireland’s largest sporting organisation. A visit to the GAA Museum at Croke Park is a great way to learn about Ireland’s unique national games and the fastest field games in the world - hurling and Gaelic football – in a fun and enjoyable way.

The GAA Museum has recently undergone a €2million renovation and offers an unrivalled state-of-the-art interactive visitor experience! Explore the museum’s new exhibition galleries which vividly illustrate the history and development of Gaelic games from ancient times to the present day. Test your own hurling and football skills in the interactive games zone – a must for all museum visitors of all ages – see how fast you can react, check out your passing skills, practice a fingertip save or the art of the high catch!

The GAA Museum is open daily throughout the year*:

  • Monday – Saturday: 09.30 – 17.00
  • Sunday & Bank Holiday: 10.30 – 17.00
  • From June – August, the museum remains open Monday-Saturday until 18.00

*Visit for up-to-date information on museum opening arrangements as alterations can occur in accordance with match days/stadium events schedule.
